First, you are required to meet synchronously with your capstone professor to discuss your topic. Please reach out to your professor early in the week to schedule a meeting. After this meeting, complete Part 1 of your assignment. For Part 1, submit a paper that describes your chosen topic, its relevance to the field of health psychology, and its relevance for a specific population. Your population can be based on gender, sex, age, race, ethnicity, or any other relevant group. For example, you may choose to look at racism as a social determinant of health in Asian Americans.

Next, begin a literature search for your selected topic/issue. For Part 2, complete a chart reviewing five research articles identified via your library literature search. The chart you need to complete can be found in this week’s resources in the Course Guide. You may choose to use some of the articles in your written response for Part 1.

Length: Part 1, 1 to 2-page paper; Part 2, 1 to 2-page chart. Total length of submission 2-4 pages

The completed assignment should address all of the assignment requirements, exhibit evidence of concept knowledge, and demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the content presented in the course.
