Evaluate your implementation progress and any successes, barriers, or challenges you are experiencing with your practice change project implementation.

Examine your leadership style in your DNP practice change project implementation specifically. What is your leadership style in your practice change project? Explain your assessment of your leadership style and determine if it is congruent with the stakeholder team. Defend your reasons why it is or is not congruent. If not congruent, how might your leadership style need to change?

Part 2: Students Completing the Case Study

For this week’s case study update, address the following:

State your practice question in PICOT format and include the week # for your implementation.

Examine best practices for implementing evidence-based practice guidelines with references sufficient to support best practice.

Propose strategies for overcoming barriers in implementing evidence-based practice with references sufficient to support strategies. Include detailed example(s) of how you will implement each strategy.

Create a detailed discussion about your ongoing implementation progress. Build your discussion about what the implementation looks like at this point in your practice change project. List the details of your meetings with staff and stakeholders. (Include the weekly meeting frequency, who is attending, how many meetings did you host this week, and the topics of discussion.)

Explain the results of your formative evaluations. How are you addressing challenges and providing feedback if the fidelity is lower than expected? If the fidelity is high, describe how you are encouraging participants.

Describe in detail what you are learning about practice change project implementation that may be different than your original expectations.

Examine your leadership style. What is your leadership style? Assess if your leadership style works in this case study practice change project?
