I believe that the nursing theory influences nursing practice significantly. In particular, nurse practitioners are guided by the theory to influence patients’ health and well-being positively. The theory informs the nurses in implementing evidence-based practice in their care delivery, providing quality and safe patient care (Alejandro, 2017). Therefore, incorporating the nursing theory-guided practice into the nursing activities boosts the quality of care delivered to the clients, thus moving the profession forward.
