Purpose Related to Practicum Site Needs

The purpose of the project at the Desai Medical Group is to address the prevalent challenge of managing anxiety in adult psychiatric patients. Anxiety continues to be a significant concern in the facility and hurts their quality of life (Penninx et al., 2021). Aim

To assess the effectiveness of a mindfulness-based stress reduction program in alleviating anxiety among adult psychiatric patients at Desai Medical Group over an 8-10-week timeframe.

Objectives
