A well-rounded portfolio should showcase skills, academic achievements, and unique talents. One way to achieve this is by highlighting specific academic accomplishments and achievements (Saks et al., 2021). Some ways to highlight academic achievements include: Writing a resume that lists educational degrees and honors/awards that have been received. Another strategy should involve including a section on the resume that highlights coursework or projects that have been completed that are particularly relevant to the position that is being applied for (McMillan et al., 2014). Professional PMHNP should also include a copy of their diploma or transcript (or partial transcript) as part of portfolio materials. Finally, sending letters of recommendation from professors or other professionals who can attest to my skills and abilities is an essential strategy for incorporating portfolio or portfolio elements that focus on academic achievements.
