Digital Technology in Nursing Essay
Digital Technology in Nursing Essay
Nurses have always been early adopters of new technology. In fact, the first nurses to use electronic health records were in the Emergency Department. There are many reasons for this. First, nurses are on the frontline of care and see patients earlier than doctors. They also have a better understanding of what information is needed to provide quality care. Finally, nurses are constantly looking for ways to make their lives easier and improve patient outcomes. That said, there are some challenges with using technology in nursing (Wilson, 2017). One is that nurses often have to adapt their workflows to fit the technology rather than the other way around. And since nurses are already so busy, they can be reluctant to take on additional tasks that do not necessarily improve patient outcomes.

The use of technology in the nursing field has had a positive impact on the quality of healthcare services delivered to patients. For example, nurses are now able to access patient information and records from any location using mobile devices or computers. This allows them to provide more accurate and timely care to their patients (Wilson, 2017). In addition, nurses can now use technology to communicate with other healthcare professionals, which helps to ensure that everyone involved in a patient’s care is coordinated and working towards the same goal. Ultimately, this leads to a higher quality of care for patients.

Tips On Writing a Thesis Statement
Thesis statements are essential for two reasons: They introduce the topic of your paper and they state your position on that topic. A good thesis statement will prepare a reader on what to expect from the paper and it will also keep them and the writer, on track. Without a thesis statement, it can be easy to veer off-topic or simply include too much information. A strong thesis statement takes some kind of stand (Gladd, 2020). The thesis needs to be specific and direct; it should explain exactly what you plan to argue in the paper. Here are some tips on writing an effective thesis statement:
- Keep it focused and specific. A good thesis statement should be clear and concise. It should be narrowly focused and deal with only one main idea.
- Make it arguable. A good thesis statement should be debatable; it should make an argument that can be disputed by other people (Gladd, 2020). Avoid making statements that are too obvious or self-evident, as they will likely not be controversial enough to make for a good argumentative essay.
- Support it with evidence. A good thesis statement must be supported by evidence from different research outcomes
- Make it clear and concise. A strong thesis statement should be easy to understand and not too complex or technical (Gladd, 2020).
- Sometimes it is useful to mention your supporting points in your thesis
