Healthcare Program/Policy Evaluation Analysis Template
Use this document to complete the Module 5 Assessment Assessing a Healthcare Program/Policy Evaluation.
A healthcare program evaluation aims to enable stakeholders to analyze its operations, including its activities, individuals involved in carrying out the program’s activities, and the individuals impacted by the program (Adams & Neville, 2020). Besides, programs are evaluated to monitor progress towards achieving the objectives and determine if the implemented interventions led to the anticipated progress on outcomes. The purpose of this assignment is to evaluate a healthcare program, including how its success was measured, individuals impacted, evaluation data, stakeholders, and my recommendations.

Conclusion
Healthy Eating, Active Communities (HEAC) Program was established in California to lower disparities in obesity and diabetes by improving nutritional and physical fitness environments for school-going children. The selected sites for the program successfully changed children’s food and physical activity environments, promoting a healthy lifestyle for low-income children and their families. I would recommend a similar program in my organization to promote healthier lifestyles in children and lower the risk of developing obesity and associated comorbidities.
