My performance ranking the various differential diagnoses earned me a score of 20% based on the evaluation I obtained from the iHuman assignment. For some reason, I feel I had trouble with the differential ranking. I may improve my ability to generate differential diagnoses by adopting the evidence-based practice of gathering as much information as possible about the patient (Cleveland Clinic, 2022). For instance, while I am doing the interview and carrying out the examination, I am looking for anything odd, but I discover that I am instead focusing on finding a single diagnosis. I could utilize the evaluation to come up with a few diagnoses as opposed to doing what I’m doing now. My areas of strength include assessing patients and conducting interview sessions. As a result, I am able to take advantage of such strengths to develop a robust list of differential diagnoses.

In the event that the patient disclosed that he was experiencing food insecurity, I would coordinate with his caseworker to provide affordable, nutritious food options for him to choose from. I would also suggest that he seek the advice of a nutritionist in order to assist him in constructing a more appropriate shopping list and acquiring those nutritious foods at prices that are comparable to those of certain non-nutritious food products (Eldred & Kameg, 2021). People who deal with food insecurity have access to a limited number of services, some of which include Magic Kitchen and Meals on Wheels. Individuals who have difficulties with the convenience of going shopping for their foods may benefit from the availability of such initiatives and services. Additionally, when people need assistance affording food, they may turn to programs like the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or other forms of financial aid to supplement their grocery shopping.
