After taking the StrengthsFinder test, my top five signature themes include positivity based on an upbeat character and vigor while working, restorative in looking for opportunities for self-improvement, relator in identifying with others based on their hopes, concerns, and ambitions, developer while supporting and appreciating significant yet little steps and achievement of others. I also possess individualization that assists in bringing people together to work effectively on certain tasks and projects.

The results from the StrengthsFinder assessment show the need to enhance certain core values, strengths and characteristics. The two core values that I want to strengthen include positivity and restoration where I may be upbeat on a certain aspect but lack the motivation to implore others to feel a sense of urgency to address a situation in the emergency room. Encouraging others leads to intellectual stimulation that assists their participation in decision making and problem-solving situations through critical thinking (Cooke, 2021). The two strengths that I want to improve based on this assessment include having the energy and improving my communication skills as a relator. While I inspire many nurses in the department, having the right energy leads one to nurture effective ways of communicating any message or information that need fast action. Good leaders anticipate change and develop contingent plans and assemble responsive teams to attain the expected outcomes.

This assessment will identify your personal strengths, which have been shown to improve motivation, engagement, and academic self-conference. Through this assessment, you will discover your top five themes—which you can reflect upon and use to leverage your talents for optimal success and examine how the results relate to your leadership traits.
