            Every evidence-based project requires appropriate planning for successful implementation into practice. For my EBP proposal, I will utilize a four-step strategy to ensure that the new practice is adopted into current clinical practice. The first step will involve framing a clear and well-structured research question based on the identified clinical problem (Cook et al., 2019). The second step will involve looking for evidence of the most effective solution from relevant literature. The third step will involve critically appraising the reliability and validity of contemporary research. The final step will involve incorporating the findings as part of clinical decision-making. Appropriate implementation of EBP is crucial among clinicians to promote the safety and quality of care provided. My project is based on the research question, “can CBD-based therapy be utilized in treating THC intoxication in the emergency room of hospitals in the United State?”

            Consequently, an integral part of the implementation plan also involves outlining all the necessary resources required to carry out the study. Such resources include time, equipment, library, manpower, websites, and electronic books (Cook et al., 2019). The project will require about 12 weeks to be completed. An adequate number of clinicians will be required to help with the data collection process. Given that the study involves reviewing previous literature, a library will serve as the best place to locate previous studies from medical websites and databases, including electronic books.  

            In managing quality control to ensure good clinical practices, it will be necessary to ensure that staff members comply with the protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and good clinical practices (GCPs) (Punyalack et al., 2018). Consequently, I will also ensure that systemic problems are identified and resolved even before the incorporation of the EBP into clinical use.
