Capstone projects in nursing entail making presentations to different audiences, especially organizational leaders and managers in the practicum site. One personal strength that I possess for professional presentation is confidence which is critical when speaking before any audience. Confidence demonstrates one’s abilities and knowledge concerning concepts they are delivering before such an audience; from organizational leaders to colleagues and even patients and other stakeholders. Confidence allows me to engage my audience and present my findings convincingly and interactively. Confidence is also critical to effectively and clearly articulate my perspectives, thoughts, and ideas on the current topic or issue (DeIuliis et al., 2024). Conversely, a weakness that I possess in making presentations is being ambitious and never allowing interruptions. Beginning a presentation can be nervous and makes one anxious.
