Case Study Development

This case study will be based on the management of an organization’s transition based on a (a) need for restructuring to better address organizational goals, or (b) internal/external crisis, or (c) organizational culture change, requiring restructuring, to name a few. The case study will result from interviews and survey instruments of an organization that has recently undergone the change process. Papers are expected to be double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 font, with one-inch margins. Each student must upload on Blackboard. Not uploading the assignment by the last day of class will result in a failing grade for the course.

The case study should be written about an elementary school who has a new principal after 10 years. The new principal came into the campus and changed all routines and expectations the teachers were used to. Specifically, she changed the professional learning community (PLC) expectations of the campus and now teachers do not meet regularly to plan or discuss student data.
