Many of you have experience in complex adaptive systems whether you realize it or not. Thinking about your current or future practice area, identify an issue or concern. In your initial response, please describe the concern. Does the concern primarily occur at the micro, meso, or macro level? How would you address this issue? What impact might your solution have on the other levels of the system? In what ways could interprofessional collaboration be used to resolve the issue?

In the recent past, complex adaptive systems are taking the lead in healthcare as they define most technological systems in healthcare. Many healthcare institutions have been keen on including the complex adaptive system to solve some recurrent health problems (Snoswell et al., 2020).). The need to meet the positive patient outcome also been the urgent need to rally many healthcare institutions to apply the complex adaptive systems.
The increasing cost of care has been a major problem in healthcare. The high cost of living has been reducing the ability of many people to pay for their health insurance. This problem reduces the ability of many people to receive proper care attention (Neville, 2018). The need to meet the healthcare need has been unattained in healthcare because of the inadequate access to care. This problem occurs at the micro, meso, and macro-level. For instance, at the macro level, address the national health policy and regulations to meet healthcare needs, meso on the community level and micro on the nursing practice. All these levels are affected by the increasing cost of healthcare.

I would address the increasing cost of living using telehealth technology which forms part of the recent complex adaptive system. The technology allows many patients to receive care remotely, reducing the cost of hospital stays and traveling many miles in search of health care services (Langabeer et al., 2017). This solution helps other system levels by allowing the healthcare system to use a low budget to serve many patients remotely.
The interprofessional collaboration would have an impact on the implementation of telehealth technology within healthcare. They possess the skills required to advance care delivery (Langabeer et al., 2017). These skills would save many lives when they are not limited to patients. They need to team up to offer care remotely would reduce not only the cost of healthcare but also advances the nursing practice.
